Below you can meet the men of Operation Antwerp X whose story has crossed my path in some other way.
First: I have had the honor to meet several family members and call many of these my friends and through these pages I wish to permanently honor them.
Second: Pfc. Frank Klepper, D Battery, gun No.4, was killed in action by burst of 40mm projectile in gun ring. Here yo can find the men that were wounded at the same incident.
Third: Here you will find, among other things, a selection of military photos found in family albums from the region. These old family albums often contain a rich collection of military photos that help document the personal history of our region during World War II. These images range from formal studio portraits to informal snapshots taken during military service, as well as photos taken with and among the local population.
These men who sacrificed much of their young lifes to liberate my home country and the rest of Europe may never be forgotten. I tell their stories to the best of my knowledge and capabilities, please contact me with any corrections or additions.
